Family Planning and Sexual Health

Tuesday 13.30 - 21.00 by appointment

Advice on contraception including intrauterine contraceptive devices (IUCDs) - both fitting and removal and general family planning can be provided in our dedicated Tuesday clinic.  You will need to arrange a telephone consultation with a GP or nurse to ensure it is the right time in your menstrual cycle.

Free condoms, chlamydia screening and pregnancy tests also available for under 25s.

This service is available to both our registered and non-registered patients.

Thursday 14.15 - 17.00 by appointment

Routine antenatal check-ups by our qualified midwives.

"Booking appointments" available Thursday 14.00 - 16.00.

Vaccinations

Vaccinations for children, or for any age, are available by appointment with our team of nurses.

We also run special "flu" vaccination clinics from early October.  Details of these will be on the home page or in the surgery, or ask at reception for further information.

Asthmaasthma_inhaler

We now offer either a telephone or face-to-face annual review with a member of our nursing team so they can provide advice on inhaler technique, medication and lifestyle. 

We encourage patients to have an annual check up.

Chronic Disease Management Clinics

We offer all our patients with a chronic diseases (e.g. diabetes; heart disease; stroke or TIA) a regular annual check-up.  If you have a chronic disease you will receive an invitation letter when your annual review is due.

These walk-in clinics are held every other month.

Young Person's Sexual Health (Under 25s) - Drop-In Clinic

Monday afternoon 15.00 - 17.00 - no appointment necessary

Run by our nurse practitioner Vicky, this confidential clinic is open to ALL young people aged between 13 - 24 registered in Brighton and Hove.

Minor Surgery

If you require a minor surgical procedure (e.g. removal of minor 'lumps and bumps'), we are able to refer you onto another local GP practice. 

Please speak with your doctor or nurse, who can arrange this for you.
