Every parent or carer wants to know what to do when a child is ill - how to care for them at home, when to call a doctor and when to call emergency services.

Almost all babies, toddlers and children will get the most common childhood illnesses like chickenpox, colds, sore throats and ear infections. While these are not very nice at the time, they are easily treated by your doctor, or at home with support from a doctor or health visitor, rather than a trip to A&E.

Find out which service or professional can help, plus learn how to spot the signs and symptoms of serious illness and how to cope if an accident happens with this Interactive Guide to Childhood Illnesses.

Albion's Speak Up Against cancer campaign

'Speak Up' aims to increase early detection of cancer amongst residents of Brighton and Hove.  The campaign is designed to not only raise awareness of the early signs and symptoms of each cancer but more importantly, to encourage residents to 'Speak up' to their doctor/GP as early as possible if they experience any symptoms.
